Every year, 15.3 billion trees are cut down, 76 million tons of pollution is put into the atmosphere, sea level rises 3.4 millimeters, and at least 1 million animals die of air pollution or plastic. This may come as a huge disappointment, especially for those who love the natural environment; however, this is the harsh truth that needs to be addressed immediately. We realized there are far too many environmental issues occurring throughout the world and we can’t be in the frontlines trying to counter every problem, but there are already organizations actively aiming to solve these issues. In order to bring all these problems and organizations in one place to give them the exposure they need, we created EcoMap.
EcoMap is an interactive map that logs various environmental/habitual crises occurring around the world, all on a single platform. Each problem is linked to a non-profit they can help, which is actively trying to mitigate the effects of said problems. This way, you can learn about various issues and support the one you feel strongly about.
