Teacher Robin Lee at the Ellis School in Fremont, New Hampshire, USA just finished a whole year of “Learning thru Lemurs” with her 6th grade language arts students! The students were inspired by lemurs and Madagascar all school year, reading and writing about conservation, the rainforest, and all of the amazing animals that call Madagascar home. Last Thursday, March 19, we held our launch party at Right Proper Brewing Company in Washington, D.C. It was a blast! So Many Friends Helped Us Celebrate Over 150 people came out to the brewery to celebrate. Last July, sixth grade language arts teacher Robin Lee went to the IMAX theater, knowing little about lemurs and Madagascar, and not even aware what was playing that day. She was in for a treat. Welcome to the Lemur Conservation Network!

The truth is, we need everyone’s help to save lemurs from extinction. Today, we launch the Lemur Conservation Network, and we call on lemur fans worldwide to join us in our fight to save lemurs from extinction.
